The only TV programmes that really make me laugh are Mock the Week, HIGNFY and old re-runs of Only Fools & Horses and Catherine Tate. That's it.

I agree with some of these but think The Likely Lads/Whatever Happened to the Likely Lads would be in there. And maybe some American ones- I used to like Gilligan's Island, and Fresh Prince was pretty good. Does Laurel and Hardy count?

Rising Damp
Porridge
Hancock's Half Hour
Yes Minister
The Two Ronnies
Lots of programmes that are twenty or more years old. I certainly don't like modern comedians, most of whom cannot do a show without uttering fu..fu... four letter words.

I would like to see more of Ken Dodd who is still performing live on stage at 88 years of age and is credited as having influenced performers such as Joe Pasquale, Harry Hill, and Peter Kay.

Hans.
Doddy is still touring, hans
Real humour was Till Death Us Do Part. You can find loads of the episodes on Youtube but would never be allowed on tv today for fear of offending . . .

You know who.

PS: Wonder who influenced that Ffffin Boyle bloke!
@hc4361....For a chap of his age he has quite a full programme of shows to beyond next Christmas.
