god I thought for a moment I had written that - probably in a drug assisted haze
I had a drug induced psychosis - not very pleasant I can tell you - after post op morphine er "went wrong". Head shrinkers shrank my head back into a normal sized skull. It gave me an insight into what badly controlled schizophrenics go thro' day after day. Had a flash back last week on the train, but after I had sunk into a chair squealing, I realised that it wasnt the Real Thing - thank god.
and Jesus - using ketamine as a recreational droog - well lardy dah !

Personally, I think the older people are, the better their manners should be, because they have grown up in a society where manners mattered.
The notion that old people should somehow get away with being rude, or 'believing in plain speaking' - does not fly with me.
I am sixty-two next month, and my manners are identical to when I was twenty-two, and will not be changing when I am eighty-two.
Age does not equal rudeness being acceptable.
