If I find instructions on youtube for example is this something I could tackle myself? Will I need tiny screwdrivers? Am I likely to muck the whole thing up?It's a Dell Inspiron 1545

Just to expand on Fitzer's post: The main battery is a great big thing, almost the same width as your laptop. It powers the laptop so that you can use it without it being connected to thie mains.
