On ebay there are worn, used and even trashed pop sox on sale. I am asking why would anyone buy them? For example there are a pair of trashed pop sox bid up so far to £9.50 and with postage of £3!!!!

There is even at least one specialist web site devoted telling you how to sell your used knickers / panties
http:// pantyde al.com/ pages/s ell-use d-panti es
I like the statement on the front page 'why wash them when you can make more money selling them as they are?'
Apparently in Japan you can buy used unwashed panties from vending machines on the street!

Very few and far between these days...
//When foreigners gush about finding a used panty vending machine, they’re usually referring to a gachapon machine. While many of the machines advertise the contents as used, anyone who can read Japanese knows that this isn't the case. Above the price (¥500) [Photo in link] are the words “スーパーUSED加工” (super used kakou). Kakou, in this case, means that the panties were manufactured to appear used – kind of like the Abercrombie jeans that are sold with holes and frayed edges straight from the factory.//
