Hi,

Have been taking a 2.5mg Ditropan tablet in the morning (plus 1 before going to bed once or twice) for well over a week now & yet to see any improvement. The doc did mention a month's trial but I thought that was more to do with possible side effects. She also said I might not need to take them if I'm at home so took that to mean they kicked in pretty quick. How long should I wait to maybe get them changed ?

Thanks

You may notice some improvement in your symptoms within the first 2 weeks of your treatment. However, it may take 6–8 weeks to experience the full benefit of oxybutynin.
as above^^

Ah, had had a quick look online but missed that. The month's trial must be about side effects then. Thanks, reassuring to know things may well improve after all (my other half's convinced it's a cyst) :)
