Good Morning,
I have a situation where i'm involved in several different court cases with another two starting soon. Since only one of these as yet has attracted any legal assistance I'm very 'thin on the ground' at present. Whenever I'm running late on a case and refer to the overall amount of cases as being part of the reason and say that I have to be able to prioritise the most important to me surely I'm told 'no, you need to prioritise this one'. But this can't work can it. Is there any guidance on this available is what I ask ? Thank you for help in advance.

I'll try and clarify the points you raise in them. bednobs, no, only one is a criminal case, that being non-compliance with a council enforcement notice, pleaded not guilty 'cause I am. It's the case that has earned me the EMS bling 'round my ankle 'to ensure my attendance at court' (I missed one court appearance but for a valid medical reason that was not challenged) How a curfew tag does this is as yet unanswered despite three bail variation apps.by myself. I did suggest to the prosecutor direct by email that I believed that these bail conditions were being used for the benefit of another unrelated case and that this was in my humble opinion an 'abuse of process'. No reply on that as yet. New Judge and EDDIE51, in the criminal case I'm the defendant, in the civil cases I am claimant, defendant, applicant and general litigation magnet I think. I can't give you dates of at present from memory and i'm on the school run pretty soon but I'm happy to provide. Jackdaw33, no I'm not a solicitor though I was asked if I was by a chap who works for London Underground at Holborn station on my way to RCJ if I was. Islay, ask for whatever detail you need please. Baldric, thanks for the link/redirect. EDDIE51, as far as I'm aware the only major problems I have are the two civil cases ? It's correct that i do have a son but he has never been unemployed and has never had any encounters with the law let alone any outstanding court cases ? You are correct however that this could be a 'long one'. Thanks to you all for the help you give, please keep it coming,

Bednobs, I see your point to a degree but (apart from the fact I'm not guilty) it is a very minor offence that soaks up much of my time at present and prevents me dealing with more important matters, to me at least. Any thoughts on this please; http:// www.the answerb ank.co. uk/Law/ Questio n152422 4.html
