I would like to give credit to a programme for the introduction of a new character namely to Last of the Summer Wine and the introduction of Seymour Utterthwaite brilliant .These light weight show have introduce a new wan as knock on the door Who are you ? "I'm your wife/?husband daughter/son Michael was brilliant never get tired watching that Uncle of the bride episode .

Some great line .Just watched the one where the husband and wife were going home from carvaning and the wife was depressed going home Compo said something like you want to try going home to that dump of mine

There are some brilliant characters and lines in the programme. I never tire of watching it.

Yes it was a good programme,shame it went on too long.

Agree the early years and last years were not great some good moments though .Not every one,s cuppa tea by I liked it .

Marina and Howard were my favourites by far !

I always thought that the actor who played Howard did very well, what with all the cycling that he had to do ...and he is still around apparently !

Yeah agree but it was a gentle comedy with witty script.In years to come it will be nice to look back on .
