Christmas Arrived Early Today ...

... got a call from our Vet couple of hours ago, would we be interested in adopting a 3 year old Rottweiler Cross the present owner could no longer look after.
Crossed with what was the first question, but they didn't know.
So off we all go with Roger in the back of the car, no good if he doesn't approve.
He turned out to be about the size of a large Staffie, about 18-20 kilos and a proper Rottie head on him, nice looking Dog.
We liked him, he and Roger got along well. and he comes home tomorrow.
Happy days ;o)

Very early days but he appears to be settling well, lets see what happens tonight.
He's been here for 12 hours now, he has a lovely temperament, and he and Roger are A OK. He's well under weight which is down to his previous owner having severe financial cramp, I don't know why, but I can't blame them in any way. We'll get him up to the going weight slowly and carefully. Mrs B is good at that, he's got it made, it won't be too long before he's joining the early morning runs hopefully, but he won't like a Pink Trackie!
