Unsupported Browser

When I try and log into G-Mail on my desk top (Windows 8) - it gives me a message that says This version of Internet Explorer is no longer supported. Please upgrade to a supported server – or words to that effect.

How do I do this please?

I don't think Windows 8 is supported either, but I'm still ambling along on W7.

Can you not use Chrome, Firefox, or other browser ?

Which version of IE are you using? Jno's link confirms that the browser IS still supported. Some applications like Citrix work better with it as a matter of fact.
You need to upgrade to the latest version.
Windows 7 and 8 are also still supported btw

Gmail is always going to be better when running Chrome.

In the ordinary course of events I certainly wouldn't recommend IE. I use gmail with Firefox as I've never got on with Chrome. It always seemed very slow especially starting up.

I am surprised that there are still ABers who use Internet Explorer when it is known to have compatibillty problems with the Answerbank site.

My preference is Firefox. Choose one of the following as an alternative to IE.
