'morning, phew it's hard work settling in a new dog, good fun but time consuming, we appear to be getting there, no mishaps so far but you need eyes in your poster to see what's going on ;o)
Friday & Sat. nights were great, Sunday night he decided he wanted our company and wouldn't shut up, we didn't sleep a lot.
Last night was a lot better, but he's smallish and quick, you never never know where he's going to pop up next.
But we like him.
Morning all dull and grey up here. I saw your post regarding the new addition Baldric but missed it when it was current. I waited to catch you on line to say hats off to you, and to say it gave me a good chuckle. He sound like a right character, who has been waiting for someone like you, and yours, to come into his life.
Thanks Togo.
He hasn't put a foot wrong to be fair, taking Dog-gates in his stride and opening doors is obviously a way of wife for him. He's house-trained, no sign of being destructive (but won't count on that just yet), and now he's getting to know us all he's showing a lot of character.
LB, he's starting to get some condition back in his coat now, still very underweight though.
We've got a couple of piccies but he still looks neglected in them, I want to show him off, not get a vote of sympathy, shouldn't be long he's shaping up well.
Walked him to Vets to get his dressing removed, all good no problem. They're well pleased with the change in him in just 4 days, put on 1½ kgs, got a shiny coat back again and the lights are back on in his eyes. Dog Owners will know what I mean. He's put himself to bed atm, long walk.
Will try for a piccie when he gets up.
