You think that you are getting extra handouts to supplement the meagre pension but in reality they shrink, in real terms, to nothing; so that they can appear generous and add further handouts as time goes by. In reality pensions should ensure no one struggles to make ends meet and needs extras. Paid enough in over the years, didn't you ?
