DON'T rub it or wet it. Once it's stained theres really not too much you can do, try a paste of oxi clean (bright pink tub) apply and leave for a while then remove - you may need to repeat it a few times.
A florist friend told me they always cut the stamens out of lilies and now I do the same just to be on the safe side.
