It got some going goodgoalie, the Honours have never bothered me and I love to read of those who work hard for their Communities getting a mention.

It's a long but interesting list for sure.

Attitudes to the Honours List are the same every year and revolve around two points of view -

You are delighted because someone you believe deserving was rewarded,

or,

You are annoyed because someone you think deserving was not rewarded, but someone you think undeserving was rewarded without justification.

I've no problem with some sportsmen/women getting awards, but I think they should wait until they retire. They were far too quick in giving Bradley 'TUE' Wiggins a knighthood.
