Most Annoying Celebs

Why do we have to have so many annoying celebs on TV shows The Shine already spoiled with Mel Geidroych messing about and being unfunny and then Jennifer Hudson on the Voice being over the top just recently we had Nicole Scherzinger. Rant over

I think it's the terrible shows that are part of the problem. I don't watch any reality or talent shows on tv, but I do like Graham Norton and Mel Giedroyc on other programmes.
There loads of annoying celebs of course, including N Scherzinger as you mentioned.

Best caption I ever read to describe who was talking was 'Joey Essex - Lovable dingbat'. It was on a Keith Lemon (Whom I find annoying) show about the 'Back to the Future' film... I think.

Someone here kindly posted a clip for me so that I could see who Keith Lemon is. That was enough to put me off so I've never seen anything he's in. Janet Street Porter and creepy Eamonn Holmes and his fawning wife are instant switch off for me.

By definition, the aspects that make a celebrity appealing to one person, will make them unappealing to another - it goes with the territory.

I didn't watch Let It Sine because I thought the format was weak, and I don't like Gary Barlow as a TV presenter (I admire him hugely as a musician), or Mel Geidroych, or Graham Norton, so the whole thing is doomed before it starts for me.

Similarly on ITV, I don't especially like will.a.am, and I can't abide Tom Jones, so The Voice is off my viewing calendar as well.

That said, there are millions who like those celebs, and will enjoy the shows - as I said, that appeal /annoyance is part of the aspect of being on television.
