Replacement Fire Bricks

The time has come to replace the bricks in my fdc wood burning stove, so can anyone suggest the best material for fire resistant bricks.

You can buy replacement firebricks and cut them to size. (Probably best done with an angle grinder.)

Either try a local woodburner supplier... or here .........

I've since ordered some vermiculite bricks online, cut to my spec.
Hope they arrive before the weather turns!
