Garden Hose Nozzle

My old ones seen better days, so I'm looking for a good reliable replacement.
It needs to be a multi setting piece of kit, suitable for jet washing the car, windows and watering plants gently in the garden.

Any tried and tested recommendations please.

I'd avoid the all-plastic ones and go for a heavier metal -bodied one. I'd also wait a few months until all the garden "stuff" becomes widely available. I bought a good one from Aldi three years ago (metal body and several spray variations)....still going strong. Of course, with Aldi or Lidl you'll have to wait until they have a "gardening special".

Hozelock Chipper. I have been using the brand for about 6 years now, after trying many other makes. The beauty of hozelock is that their are many many useful attachments. My favourite being a gizmo that meters out plant feed direct as you water plants(we have 60 odd pots on the go in the summer). The guns and lawn sprinklers are excellent and hard wearing.

I think I'm going to stick with the Hozelock brand, I think my old one must have lasted about 10 years before water started spurting out of the trigger area.
I would guess, it would be a good idea to remove it from the hose during the coldest days of winter to prevent any frost damage.

Ta Chipper. Haha it sounds as if you have done exactly what I did a few years back. Left the trigger hanging with water in it during a heavy freeze. Mine actually split and is the last time I did that. Last year I also invested in the hozelock wall mounted drum reel, which can be lifted off and disconnected, it is in the shed. It was my fault not the tackle's.

Yes, Hozelock is an obvious choice....but it's not the brand that it once was (I know somebody who worked for them until recently). It's gone the same way as many former family-owned companies and products haven't really benefitted from the change.
