Best Places For A Bird Box

Hi, I was recently bought a bird box, and am wondering where the best place would be in my garden to put it up?

I'm guessing where it's most quiet, away from the patio doors?

Any advice would be appreciated

Yes, away from the patio doors would be preferable, but also bear in mind that its in an area where it would be difficult for predators to get to it.
If there is little or no shade, I would position the box so that it is not facing south during the hottest part of the day.
