Before Christmas he ordered a mobile phone on eBay. It had to come from china so any delivery problems to be left until end of January.
It didn't arrive so he went through non delivery status on eBay. They investigated and refunded him.
Beginning of last week he ordered a car jack (he had lost the handle to ours) on eBay. He was informed delivery was last Thursday. Again no show. He investigated and it was being delivered by Yodel. They had picked it up but there the tracking ended. He contacted eBay and again he has been refunded.
Does EBay keep a record of people not receiving goods. He is trying to order another one at the moment. I hope he doesn't get a bad name on eBay.
I felt the same when twice in a row Tesco delivered my shopping minus almost £20 worth of postage stamps - they eventually discovered it was a flaw in the system , now resolved.
