Since The Changeover

Have the number of questions/answers dropped? I have certainly stopped posting so much because you don't tend to see the other categories unless you actually go into the list to ask a question.

After the first weekend the Ed commented that numbers were a little up, but they may be represented by the tenacious crossworders.

A lot of new names have sprung up as a result of people getting email invites too, some haven't posted for a long time but have come back to have a look.

I think certain sections will be down however.

I did struggle for a couple of days but now I'm back to flitting from one thing to another as usual.

before the new site was introduced I felt the numbers had decreased especially in the am. It's difficult to find a decent post after midnight, news is quite busy at times but has just become a vehicle to abuse some abers from the usual abers ( some of them appear to be untouchable).

If I've answered a question I just go straight to my profile and check my "Answered Posts." Easy peasy, Lankeela.

I can't be bothered with the chopping and changing and it's true it's much harder now to see categories.

There is no-one more reactionary or Luddite than me, yet I have no problem with the new layout. There are three ways to access categories:

1. The big red box at the top right which reads View All Categories.
2. Scroll down to the bottom where they are all displayed (but not sub-categories)
3. If you want to ask a question just put it in the question box at the top which is permanently displayed. Once you begin typing you will be invited to choose a category from the drop-down menu.

If I can navigate the site anybody can.

It's not hard, it's just irritatingly tedious.

On the old site, to view a topic, you had to click once. Now you have to click twice. I can understand how tedious and fatigue-inducing that might be for some.

I don't use the Site as much as I did, I find there are a lot less Threads that interest me nowadays, maybe it's just the same old, spouting the same old that's getting tedious.

I find it to be the same, as used to it now as the old site.
