I'm toying with the idea of getting a robotic vacuum cleaner, and am looking for any advice. I would like it to just keep on top of the dust/pet hair/general guff and I would probably still do a proper vacuum myself once a week.
Does anyone have one they would recommend, or avoid?
Thanks for your answer Tuvok. It was the ad in Lidl that inspired me to investigate further! Online reviews for that particular model aren't great, but for £70 I might give it a go anyway. :-)
Which? tested them recently...the only one they recommended was a Dyson (at £800!!)...there were a few so bad, they were "Don't Buys"...even at £300-£400. So, how a £70 one performs is a "suck it and see" ...see what I did there?
Hi, 2sp......is it because you want it done with the robot or you don't want to lug out the big vacuum frequently.....
I use the Miele once a week or so and have a quick nip over the black floor and my sewing room once a day with the Dustbuster Flexi.... it's quick, light and does a good job...but it's not a robot of course...x
gness, I really should be vacuuming every day - hairy dog, grubby kids, filthy husband, but I really just don't have the time. I figure/hope if I have a robotic vacuum doing a tour of the house daily then I could get the Dyson out once a week and do it properly.
