I did a software update the other day. I remember it saying something about history being wiped. But I didn't realise notes would be emptied.
I kept a complete list of all passwords for every site I went on there, and they have been wiped. Is there anything I can do? I remember doing a restore to earlier date on laptop years ago. Can you do this on iPad.
Is there anything I can do?

Were your notes backed up to iCloud? (To check, go to Settings > iCloud to see if 'Notes' is turned on).

Yes it is turned on, what do I do now Chris?
I'm fumbling in the dark a bit here ('cos I've never even held an iPad) but this looks like what you need:

Thank you Chris. I have a problem with iCloud, when I click on it, it says whoops! We have a bug. We are fixing it. It's been saying this for 6 months. But I have gone through your link and have arranged a phone call from Apple tomorrow to talk me things. You are a star!
