Is a NQ qualification equivalent to a number of A-Levels? I am interested in the NQ Performance in Contemporary Dance Course as post 16 education but how many A-levels is it equivalent?

I did an Advanced GNVQ and that was apparently equivalent to 3 A-levels.

It's difficult to compare the two, but we could try and work out a rough guide if you told us how much work was involved - how many hours per week and for how many years did the course last? Each A-Level cours is about 6 hours a week for 2 years.

Class time, that is, then between 3 hours and 18 hours per week "personal study" (at home) depending on the amount your teacher sets, how much you do, how much effort you put in and how quickly you work.

An NVQ level 3 is equivalent to 2 A' levels.
