I have not been on answerbank long, a friend recommended me to it, but in the short time here this type of question seems to show the division in opinions concerning the polarized nature of some of the debate on here in connection with the war...
i maybe wrong dolly, but are you not trying to suggest that some "people" here are so anti american that they are indifferent to any life being taken because they have previously stated the war is wrong and pointed out the failings of the US administration? if i'm putting words in your mouth or being over sensitive i apologise..
however to answer your question, i don't think many people have mentioned it because, those guys were killed by sadistic murderers so no one in their right mind should defend them and decent people should be disgusted by their actions, they are barbaric and regardless of motive no cause has the right to murder
There's a war on and this type of thing happens in war it goes with the territory (which is why many veterans appreciate the futility of war), atrocities happen as a matter of course as "normality" descends into the chaos, read up on the atrocities carried out in europe in the 90's in bosnia, very very unpleasant...The media draw very little or no attention to, the daily killings from both US and insurgents of innocent people on a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan. That is why i am totally against war unless it is absolutely required! it is required sometimes but i have not once seen anything that convinces me that the war in Iraq was required?
