For more on marking an answer as the "Best Answer", please visit our FAQ.Not seen any 'Brimstones' yet but I know that they do normally make an early appearance, some will have you believe that they were the first butterflies to be named, due to the buttery yellow of their wings. Personally I don't go along with that, but its a nice story.
I too, have seen plenty of bumble bees around, large black ones mostly, they do love a bit of lungwort!
