getting 'cannot find' message often

Does anyone know (I'm sure there are thousands out there who can help me with this one) why I get the message on IE: "The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."
I've learned to hate this message, can you help with thisone?
