samjenko - aka CIAboy - is right - sorry old sam fella
leading on the Beeb news ( that fountain of troot) today
CIA hack - the wikileaks have made the world a less safe place for Americans to be in....so it COULD all be true
( rather than my view of "obvious rubbish" )
sozza again

wikileaks leaks tend to be "true" as they are not second hand gossip but actual documents stolen by people who claim to have our best interests at heart but are actually malign.
The CIA etc will have been using TVs, phones, ets as bugging devices: who know, possibly against IS operatives or suspects. The fact that this material has come out makes the job of targetting these people all the more difficult. The Germans, at least, believe wikileaks is controlled by Russian FIS: who is to say they are wrong?
So fundamentally it is highly possible that the Russians are actively thwarting the fight against IS. That ought to be food for thought for President Trump ...

just going over the old issues of The Good Wife
series 7 has a running theme of cases involving NSA listening
( national security agency )
and turning mobiles into transmitters - "hot miking" makes a constant appearance - in the NSA themed episodes
( The Frick and Frack episodes - these rae two listeners at the NSA and this is how their supervisor refers to them )
and at the time no one turned a hair
so all the explosive anger about endangering national security
it was all in the public domain anyway
