What kind of questions of ask on here?

Hello I am new to this site.I have no idea where to ask this question .I was thinking AB suggestions but this is not a suggestion so since this is probobly a popular section I will put it here.I was wondering if this site is only for sensible questions or is it a bit of a chat room where people have fun and a bit silly.I am willing do what is the morm on this website and prefer neither.It was just that lookinh at some threads there are some sensible ones and some silly ones.

I will try but my first question was banned.It was about whether you need to disinfect a cut and someone replied by saying I was a user called sexrussian and banned my question.I have complained about this to the Editor.
