How Long To Cook My Cake For

it's a chocolate cake - 8oz flour sugar butter and 4 eggs in one tin (not sure of size but mixture comes 1/2 way up) in a non fan oven at 80 degrees

Hope your cake turned out alright. I normally bake mine from hour and a half to two hours on gas Mark 3. When removing from oven, stick a knife in and if the blade has no cake mix on, then it's done. If not put back for a little while.
