Bike rides and noses

Why does my nose run whenever I go out on my pushbike?

Its very annoying and most unladylike.

because it's full of snot, blow it before you endeavor your ride?!x

It`s the same as when you go out when it`s cold. It may not seem cold, but as you`re cycling there would be a breeze "hitting" your face.

But there's nothing wrong with my nose at all until I go out on the bike. It doesn't matter if the weather's cold or hot, it stil runs. Why does it do it????

Keep emptying your nostrils, that's what I do. Close one nostril with a finger and blow sharply through the other. Lean to the side, you don't want it getting down your clothes or into the front mech.

On bad days you'll need to do this every mile or so.

Sorry sholay, I don't know *why* it happens either, but my solution works. 'Sniff and Spit' is useless. BTW I don't do it when there are loads of people about.

It's much worse in the morning - do you find that ?

And yes, it is weird, I can get up at 6am, get ready for work and leave 2 hours later at 8am, and it's only when I start to cycle that the nose plays up !
