He is a good actor isn't he, AEL, as is Vera. He can be nicely creepy and really horribly creepy.

I don't think Freddie will get any other roles though. He will be typecast after this.

I have recorded it. It is catching up with the original film. Remember you could not get into the cinema after it had started? Novelty at the time.
Freddie Highmore will get more work. He was a successful child actor and this series is not on mainstream channels. He has directed many of the episodes too, so maybe he will go in that field.

I remember seeing it on TV in the mid 60s. Too young to see it in the cinema. I can still see the rain pouring down and the windscreen wipers working overtime.

Freddie Highmoor was brilliant in Near to the enemy. He is a great actor as Norman Bates.
