How Will They Cope In The Real World?
How will the snowflakes cope when they leave university and find out what the real world is like.

Do they just find things to be offended by or on other peoples behalf.

The word 'snowflake' is now banned. From now on it must be referred to as a symmetrical glacial deposit.

These things will happen, because there are other people in the world, and when you get to extremes, you get extremely silly people.
This is a small minority of kids.
When they enter the real world, they will be consumed with more important stuff.
They will cope - like every other generation coped.
'Snowflake' what a tiresome term.

Brilliant closing point from the article I linked to, that I think we all on AB should take into consideration:
[i]It’s undoubtedly unfair to brandish all right-wing thinkers with the alt-right brush, but nor would I want to be associated with the juvenility of some leftist identity politics.
If we’re going to play the gutter game of extrapolating extremes, then let’s acknowledge the hermetic bubbles on both sides.
Each has their own set of conduct for immunising against panoply of diverse outlooks in order to keep their self-reflecting universe intact.[i]

I wish I understood that but unfortunately I only have two degrees.

Blatant plagiarism Jackdaw. Lifted from the last lines of a piece in the Independent(where else) and written by Marcus Nield.

One of my daughters is profoundly deaf. She hit the roof.
One thing she really hates is people making exceptions for her (and in particular being offended on behalf of her)
I have seen her have a go a social workers and other do gooders during her life. She tried to do voluntary work(for the deaf) but fell out with the 'hearing' volunteers who tried to tell her what was best for the deaf !!

Jesus I thought this was 'snowflake cops'
and I thought 'erm I dont know any'
especially after the Downing st incidents
just skimmed the article in the expectation that it wouldnt say what the OP said it said - normal day on AB then
and since I have had 10 restarts to get this far I havent read all the posts
There IS a BSL sign for whooping - they call it Jazz Hands
and that is mentioned in the piece
Deaf people do go to discos as you can feel the beat thro the chest ( as hearing would but they dont kinda notice) - so you can see clapping but you have to be pretty deaf not to hear loud whooping.
and it was only for that conference _ I didnt see that the snowflakes wished to ban whooping at football matches along with introducing lessons of compulsory lesbiansim on thursday afternoons . ( sorry that last bit was nt in the article but in true AB tradition i thought I would mention it as it is on my mind)
so how will the snowflakes cope ?
I am sure when they go out into it - the world will go on turning in a hearing environment
[ I sign in a hearing environment which my brother finds 'too theatrical' whereas he lipreads]
oh, Jazz hands is very useful for rail stations and airports
used it to great effect more than once
