After a personal upsetting 2 weeks at her home, my daughter is taking her 6yr old son to Warwick Castle, for a deserved break.

She is staying for 2 days, and I would like to send a small gift, not flowers, to the hotel, to show our love, support, and that we are thinking about them.

With it being bank holiday Monday lunchtime when she arrives, most places are going to be closed I assume.

Any help welcome.

sorry to hear this .could you phone the hotel and perhaps pay for a meal and wine for her xx
I agree that the best bet is to phone the hotel and ask then to arrange something. If its 6 year old with Mum, how about ice cream sundaes in the room?

Trt....not at all sure if this would work but you could have a look at Moonpig and at M&S.....nice thought by the way....x
Moonpig uses royal mail and as Monday is bank holiday the earliest anything would arrive is Wednesday.
Amazon can deliver same day/next day even on bank holidays - your grandson might appreciate a knight's costume

Do Warwick castle do any VIP tours? You could purchase that as a gift

Thanks for the suggestions folks.

The hotel were most unhelpful, well the receptionist was, and I would have made a complaint, except it might have a backlash to their stay.

Good idea about the knights costume HC, and the the Warwick castle tour Islay.

Will let you know how I got on tomorrow.

As promised, to let you know folks.

Bought the grandson a knights costume, a similar one to your suggestion HC, from Amazon.

Tried for tour tickets as well Islay, but have to be booked in advance, but they had a great day in the castles indoors, due to the rain, but going back tomorrow, to do battle in his Knights Armour :-)

Thanks all.
Oh that's lovely, Trt.....glad you got something sorted and bet he loved the surprise....x
He'll be thrilled.
