trt i see you said putting socks on is too much trouble I have a bad back and can't bend to put socks on but I bought a sock putter on, you can buy them from mobility shops or google sock and stocking aids and you will see it .

I thought about them at first, but I now feel more comfortable without socks, with soft casuals, moccasins & slippers.

Far better to tell your daughter rather than her notice that what ever it is isn't being,used,worn, displayed eaten or whatever.
