Lady Connolly , yes.
Lady Pamela .
Oh I've read it wrong, sorry.
Just be pleased that people have been recognised for the work they do and skip the sclerotic, mean-spirited politics.
Now we know HRH is a couch potato & her fav dvd is Mrs Brown

Why should the likes of him become a Sir Johnny Johnson the last Dam Buster should have been top of the list?
I was surprised the concerted campaign to get a Knighthood for Johnny Johnson didn't come to full fruition.

//The last surviving British member of the Dambusters raid has been made an MBE in the Queen's Birthday Honours.
George "Johnny" Johnson was 22 when he took part in the 1943 air raid using experimental bouncing bombs in Germany.
The 96-year-old, who has been the subject of a number of campaigns to get him knighted, said the MBE was "as much honour" as he could "really expect".
He added he was "pleased" and "very grateful to all those who signed the petitions and made this possible".//
Odd isn't it, AOG.....who is chosen to be honoured...and for what......decisions like this kind of make a mockery of the honours for me..... :-(
He's done so much for charity gness and I hope that's what he got it for.
I should imagine it is, LB...and there was a time when I enjoyed his humour.....his way of telling a tale....he was good...
I went to see him live in London.....I had his records....

But he hit the bottom with that remark.......the only way he could redeem himself would be if Pamela was in the same situation as Ken Bigley.....and Connolly went on stage wishing them to get on with her beheading....or laughing if someone else did......

I'm just sorry to see him being honoured.......x
I understand, I too was shocked at the time.
Are you a Scorpio gness by any chance? x
Gemini.
No, LB....even worse....I'm a Gemini...... ;-)
Ahhh...Tony knows....he's seen both sides of me.... :-)
Mmmmmm ;-)
