Crown immunity is do with sovereign immunity ( coz she's a sov , see ?) which is to do with head of state immunity which is to do with presidential immunity ( president trump is head of state see?) which is to do with immunity and executive order
and ( takes big breath ) is to do with President trump insisting his immigration ban ( or not a ban alternatively) was not subject to review by the courts
(the courts said it was )

OG, someone else mentioned security, and I wonder if it is, indeed, a security measure. Princess Anne's car was ambushed by a gunman in the Mall, so perhaps in situations where cars are being driven at low speeds along roads lined with onlookers, the security people deem it quicker and easier to remove royals from threatening situations if they're not strapped in.

naomi, here it used to be and may still be the case that taxi drivers did not have to wear seat belts due to the risk of being hijacked, perhaps it is a security reason for the Royals not to wear a seatbelt.
Have to say though that person really needs to get a life bigtime!

Don't care who they are royal or not the law is quite clear, if one is driving or a passenger in a moving vehicle a seatbelt must be worn.
