Hi gness....I always liked Paul Newman as an actor but I now have great respect for him as a truly kind person . I never realised that he was responsible for having established a charity for seriously ill children.

Before I leave this thread I am going to refill my glass and raise it to gness for having drawn my attention to Paul Newman and also raise it in memory of the man concerned who was generosity in the extreme.

Prudie mentioned that 100% of profits from salad dressings and sauces etc go to his charity and I have now read that in 2014 it amounted after taxes being paid to over 400 million dollars.
