Years ago when this was a magazine it used to be full of interesting items offered for sale. I see it's now on-line and devoted to motoring.
Where would the type of stuff that was advertised there now be offered for sale?

Morning Sandy,
blast from the past there, was 'the' place to go for a bargain wasn't it. I imagine ebay has took the rest up.
As you have indicated Exchange & Mart is on line. I have just tried it and found it a little tricky 'clicking' through the site.

Try clicking at top of page.....Items for Sale > Buy an item...and so on. You'll be surprised at what is on offer....Household Goods, Tools Furniture etc etc.

You might be asked for a Post Code to help the searches you make, but Not name and address or even house number. You could, if you feel doubtful about giving your postcode, pump in one in your area.

Hans.

It use to be said that you could tell the true intellectual as he read the hard cover version of the Exchange and Mart !
Empty jars and chocolate containers ? I don't see the reason for insisting on a postcode. It's only useful for filtering when it's buyer collects. Folk will want to see what's on offer regardless. Daft obligatory demand.
Think a lot of people are now advertising on shpock or gumtree but I too remember the old Exchange & Mart & bought it quite regularly many moons ago
