So is he going to tell Trump that all EU citizens in the US must have the same rights as EU citizens in the EU and that he has to allow the ECHR to preside over the US?

There is also the view that the EU should pay the UK to leave and promise never, ever to come back then treat Brits within the EU as refugees. The same opinion suggests they should issue a warning to EU citizens in the UK that they stay at their own risk but offer grants to those who decide to stay so they can obtain mental health checks.

No other nation state (other than those shackled to the EU) would accept another country having authority over it or the people living in it.

the eu is doomed as we know it, it should have been just the richest countries within europe to have a union, not ex soviet countries as well
as they ar ejust a drain on the system and bring nothing to the party let alone greece and italy, reminds me of the roman empire over extended their empire to only collapse, and other empires in history.
