Should Children Be Indoctrinated Like This?
Over the years on here some of us have expressed the opinion, that our schools have become, just like the NHS and the BBC, hotbeds of Left wing and Marxist bias. Of course we are howled down and ridiculed by they who, although knowing it to be true, would prefer not to acknowledge it. Here is a man who should know. A betrayal of our children, and more akin to a Communist state or the Nazi propaganda program in the 30s.

This is all anecdotal report by one, sole teacher who is being paid money by a newspaper that absolutely loves this kind of story and has a reputation for misleading and deceitful reporting. There is no proper or compelling evidence being presented here. Bit of skepticism is in order... one of the values I learned in my awful horrid lefty-PC-yoghurt-knitting-brainwashing education.

Anyone who thinks the BBC is choc full of lefties needs to account for why the general director is a Tory, why the chief of political programming was recently hired by the Conservative government as a director of communications, and why its current political editor is a lifelong Tory.
Yes, some of its showrunners are quite PC. Boo hoo. Some of them also aren't. It's a big corporation with differing characters in it, that sometimes slips up on its duty to be impartial. People need to calm down.

Haha skates on thin ice you mean?
Further to my OP. I have been out for most of the day and had a further thought. The left wind tutorials being undertaken in schools are only one betrayal, . What about the generation of boys being "schooled" by women only mentors. Some boys pass through their whole primary school years and never have a male teacher, so they get their formative years being taught by mainly left thinking, very persuasive, female teachers. Ever likely they are "confused" young men and we have a society in danger of fragmenting. The poor girls fare no better for the lack of male role models.

One of the reasons why there are so few male primary school teachers is because they have been scared off by certain newspapers who spent the entire 90s telling its readership that there were paedophiles everywhere.
Togo - as a thought exercise, why not speak to some of the young people in your family to ascertain whether they have been brainwashed?
Also, do you think that perhaps secondary school children have the capacity to challenge ideas that they are presented with?
Or you think that like every generation since the 50s, young people lean to the left and then grow progressively less left-leaning as they age?
I mean, if you ever watch documentaries about student protests in the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and now - aren't they all the same?
Therefore, whether teachers are left leaning or not, the kids WILL be.
History teaches us that.

What?
Seriously...what???
That's just...strange.
School kids do not exist in a vacuum. They have male and female role models all over the place. Their mothers, fathers, grandparents, sports coaches, riding instructors, piano teachers, Scout leaders, Girl Guide leaders, vicars, priests...
I honestly think that you need to rethink that.

I was in primary school in the 1960s and had one male teacher in seven years. It was then and is now a job for the gals, regardless of your fantastic inventions.
