When using a tumble dryer put a clean dry tea towel in with the washing to be dried.
I can't remember the logistics of it, but an article in a paper said it can dry the washing in a third less time. Therefore saving electricity and money.

I use a tumble dryer because it removes the dog hair that the washing machine leaves behind. Cravendale filtered milk does seem to stay fresh longer and has a longer use by date.
Woofy....I have never tried that Cravendale, but I find semi-skimmed lasts for 3-4 days. I rarely have cereal, so its mostly for tea.

I do make a mean "proper" rice pudding once in a while though, with nutmeg and sultanas !
You don't keep Cravendale in your tumbly surely Woofy ? :-D
sultanas in a rice pudding? oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
alba....yes, yes, yes !

Very yummy !

Sometimes I put caraway seeds in as well !
And some condensed milk !
condensed milk? You are forgiven :-) x
alba....I'm a rebel, I am !

Actually, its difficult to get a proper seed cake these days. I used to be able to get them from a local baker, but they stopped making them, due to lack of interest.
My semi-skimmed lasts up to twelve days.
I'm lucky if my full cream milk (blue lid) last 3 days, a 2l jug, 3 men, loads of cereal and endless cups of tea make it evaporate quite quickly.
alba, only when I want to make butter :) I do know someone who uses her washing machine on spin to centrifuge apples to make cider though.
Woofy, she sounds like my kind of woman :-D
she is a complete gem!
