At one time you could keep clicking back to time immemorial, Jackdaw.

You can go back by using the user's profile or searching for a topic.

I think you're right though you did used to be able to trawl further back.

The Recent tab only goes back a month i but f you click on Answered rather than Recent you can go back a few years.

Talbot meant in News in particular I think - if you go into the topic and hit 'last' on the page numbers it only goes back a month or so.

I was in News and it went back to 2014.
Yes, when you click on a topic like News it automatically takes you to the Recent tab and that only goes back a month I think. To go back further you simply click on the Answered (or Unanswered) tab
