Wednesday. I can see Venus and the moon, but nothing else. Very odd.
It's a bit warmer this morning, no air movement, so today could well turn out like yesterday, which was warm and sunny. I spent most of the day in the back garden. Most enjoyable.
Nothing on the auricle for today, so it's a case of see what happens.
can get too breezy on The Firth of Forth for sails on a short hop out to Inchkeith...by the time they are up it's time to pull down and one chap does not like the listing with the sails up..so usually engines to get out to launch canoes
Morning Birdies, a bit overcast this morning but not too bad. 2 mornings without rain, makes a change. Think I am going to get my shopping duties done a day early and then go fishing tomorrow, it looks like the best day for it after a rain storm tonight. So get my fishing bait and tackle sorted this afternoon.
No Minty coarse fishing, mainly Carp. Straight back in. Funnily enough I was chatting with a chum yesterday who does indeed do a bit of sea fishing and we made a sketcy agreement to spend a day down on the breakwater an Penrhyn Bay. The Mackerel are "in" at the moment and some nice flat fish being pulled out.
Morning wbm xxx and all xxx another nice day .think I will go out and see what I can find .Many years ago I went to visit a friend and we went to Portsmouth .I think it was The Ark Royal and we got to walk on the bit where the planes land .don't think you could do that now it must have been well over 20 years ago ,Have a nice day all .
We sort of made the "sketchy" agreement to have a session when the Bass were about. They usually follow the Mackerel, and there are some beauties pulled out in Colwyn Bay. There is a Bass competition that brings in a lot of sea anglers held at Old Colwyn/ Llandulas.
