I also find Lisa irritating - she actually annoys me, especially now it has become a 'thing' that she has to sing! he has a good voice, but it is sop contrived. Wish they could get new presenters and change the script they use, I'm word-perfect now.

Don't get your hopes up about Jeremy leaving, Mally. He said on his Radio 2 show yesterday that he was just back from Scotland where he recorded 54 shows in 2 weeks!

Can't stand her or Jeremy Vine. Bring back Dermot. Vine seems to think it is the Jeremy Vine Show. Always making stupid remarks and getting that woman to "sing". I grab the mute fast then.
Have watch this for many years as like to join in but Vine has ruined it.

Totally agree, makes me cringe when she starts singing - why does Jeremy encourage her.

She's the reason I don't watch Eggheads any more. I used to like Daphne, and I don't have a problem with Jeremy. I didn't like Dermot because he always seemed to repeat everything. I've often wondered whether the contestants are told to talk about the question before answering. I would just answer the question if I was asked (if I could, that is!).

In reply to Hellywelly4. I was on Eggheads years ago (sadly, didn't win) and we were told to 'think aloud' when answering questions. We were also asked to discuss the questions/answers in the final round. I think it's inbuilt with some of the Eggheads but it felt a bit false tbh xx
