1975 Peanut Brittle.

In approx 1975 Mars launched a peanut brittle bar that failed miserably, can AB Stars remember what it was called? As a Mars salesman I was partly responsible for the failure.

I should have said Mars Ltd. The link shows the exact product but it had a different name in the UK.

That must have really broken you up, Saplesam.

One of the problems was that the bar had a very short best by date, don't know why this was. We ended up collecting it from all the shops.

Think I've found the answer. Snickers. The peanut brittle was launched as Snickers and failed. Many years later Marathon was renamed Snickers. Unless anybody can correct me?
