Absence Of Birds

Where have all the birds gone?? Only ever see (last couple of weeks) Seagulls. In the back we usually see most of the garden birds but not lately, not even pigeons !!!!!!

It's the song thrush I miss most from my garden, haven't seen one for years...they used to make that tap, tap sound when bashing a snail...

every so often, the gulls, crows, magpies and pigeons will fly off.
FIL and I think there's a sparrowhawk around, but neither of us have seen it.

Used to get lots of little birds in the back garden, robins, sparrows and finches, haven't seen any for a few years. :-(

About 3 weeks ago all our garden birds disappeared. Blackbirds, robins, sparrow, magpies, tits, collared doves ALL vanished. Even the couple of random seagulls didn't appear. Then suddenly, a couple of days ago, they all returned. I suspect a sparrow hawk.
