For Ron:
The Answerbank used to have two different versions, with one being designed for desktop computers ( URL =
http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk ) and the other being designed for mobile devices, such as phones (URL =
http://m.theanswerbank.co.uk ). The latter used a simpler layout in order to be easily read on a smaller screen. As such it was also extremely useful to people with visual handicaps, such as Woodelf, who use screen readers to listen to AB's content.
When the 'new' AB was launched though it was designed as a 'responsive' site, which automatically adjusts to the size of the screen on which it's being viewed. Since then, anyone using a desktop to view the site will receive the 'full' pages, even if they're using the old 'mobile' link above.
That's what's happening for Woodelf. He's trying access the mobile version on a desktop, as he used to be able to do, but no such specific version exists any more. So he now gets the whole page content, which his screen reader simply can't cope with.
