Well... they were just trying to get shot of them.

I suspect that there was incentive not to have the kids going into care, and one wasn't going to keep the more aggressive parent, who bought a bb gun, out of gaol to 'take care of them' in preference to the one who took over 'caring' duties when the other wasn't around.

I endeavour never to fall out with anyone if I can help it - and you seem far too rational and reasoned to do so, and I do try and be the same.

I dispute that I 'jumped' to my conclusion - I think your wording indicated that you were being sarcastic, I would suggest that any regulars on here would agree with that - but if you don't wish to concede, that is your right of course.
