must admit to training my sons about the difference in being outside family home and being elsewhere.
First time we took them to a restaurant, Mr Alba and I were ready to depart in most timely fashion if the worst happened, it didn't, joy of joys and sighs of relief all round lol
Pix, some years back, when they were about 15/16, they came to the shop with me to carry shopping home (nice lads), anyhoo, as they were walking quite a distance in front of me (can't be seen with mum, street cred etc lol)
a woman approached me and said she had seen them helping an elderly gent by carrying his bags to his home, felt quite proud.
You are a divine creation Minty, live with the fact ;-)
One of my offspring was walking unassisted before 1, running by 18 months, riding a "2 wheeler" by 2 and riding a peewee 50cc minibike sideways and airborne by 3.
They ain't saints that's for sure, but it's nice to know when they are out without parental supervision they behave
We had the usual, the younger one came in and said he'd helped an elderly lady cross the road.
Mr Alba and I said in unison 'did she want to cross the road?'
Ozzy, am liking the sound of that offspring of yours!!! x
