I don't know if we can over here but they are dead simple to make JJ
As far as the big supermarkets, etc, are concerned, I think the answer to your question has to be 'No'.

The MySupermarket website (which scours all the main supermarkets for products, prices and current availability) can't find them and Google Shopping can't either.

Your best chance of finding them might be at, say, WI market stalls but you might have to search for a very long time to find a regular source.
I have 3 jars on my shelf in the pantry of which you can have one if you want to meet JJ
Never seen pickled courgettes, do you mean whole ones. I buy pickled gerkins and cornichons, not the same but great in a salad.
Why buy a generally overpriced product when it takes so little time in your own kitchen for a fraction of the cost?

There are ample recipes on the internet that you could easily match to your favoured product and then go and buy the ingredients you don't already have.
I saw courgettes and aubergines in sunflower oil in Lidl the other day. Not picked, but available in jars.

I suppose they could be drained and patted down with kitchen towel and re-soaked in pickling vinegar. At only 85p per jar, it wouldn't break the bank to try.

I love them but ironically I have to buy them in England and bring them to Germany as the Lidl over here doesn't sell them.
They are nice, Talbot, I must say.
Cornichon is the French word for gherkin.
Our corner shop has a lot of Polish items. They have pickled Gherkins that look like small courgettes .
Question Author
well picked up - pickled gherkins in Sainsburys - have tasted some and they are very nice. So am cooking up a lasagne, coleslaw, salad and coleslaw to go with them.

EDDIE - Sainsburys are doing some shelves of Polish items.
My Muslim run corner shop has been increasing its Polish lines to the point where it is around 25% of the stock. All the Polish items I have tried are better and cheaper than the British equivalents, especially the Beer.
