Maude, My pool was built in 1955, it is in ground, plaster finish, it has some cracks, some leakage, not serious. It is gunite, my home is approximately 1500sq. ft., the pool is considered average for this house, I think the lenghth of the pool is 24x15 not certain. I am interested in resurfacing and removing old tile around top and installing new more decorative, as I will most likely sell this house in 5 years, the pool only was acid washed 7 years ago, it looses many chemicals, from the pool not been sealed I've been told, my main question is what is 'Best' Epoxy Paint'???? or Plastering, what is the real basic differerance, I do not want the paint to powder, is this method 'Epoxy' Paint superior to Plastering? I understnd to do my entire pool with any resurfacing and tile is in total about $ 3000.00 plaster, $ 1400 new tile., and other exp. for new light, coping@ $ 2400.00, my budget is ONLY what I MUST absolutly pay, not looking for frills, a good honest job and best way I should go???? HELP!! I'm a single parent and over the years have been somewhat taken advantaged of by workers and my lack of experience......thanks, any suggustions or web sites would be heaven sent!!!!

Hello, Jude. I started another paragraph above this one because, until Dave most kindly explained how to do it, I could not reach the "Submit" button. As soon as you answer that paragraph I will launch into what is to be done. I assume that your 24x15 is feet, not yards or metres, and that depth is about 2'6" at the shallow end and about 5'0" at the deep end. I see that you have priced in dollars, so could also say which country you are in.
